1. Simply fit the liner
into the basket |
2. Half fill with fertilised potting mix before side planting |

3. To sideplant, poke a hole in the side of the liner with your finger. Shake any excess soil off your plant roots so they will easily slide through. Don’t be afraid that this will damage your plants. In fact, opening up the roots actually stimulates growth. |
4. Gently ease the root ball through the hole you have created. Space the plants out evenly all around the basket and mix and match for interesting effects. |

5. Fill the basket, but make sure you leave a 1 inch deep lip around the top of the basket. This will allow the water to sit on the top and gently work its way through the soil to the bottom of the basket, instead of spilling over the sides of the basket. |
6. Top plant as usual. Don’t worry if you feel there is a little bit of soil showing through the sides of the moss. It’s not a problem because when wet the moss will swell up covering any gaps and securing your plants. Water thoroughly when planting is finished. |
